IOS 10 hold duration

Since I installed IOS 10 on my 6s plus sometimes I get a "hold duration" message

on the screen. How do you adjust the hold duration? I also been having swipe and

scrolling issues. Please do not tell me it is a third party app problem. It does this with

the standard iPhone apps already loaded on the phone. How do i fix?

I understand that after updating your iPhone to iOS 10, you've been seeing an alert about a hold duration, and you've been having some issues with your touchscreen not being responsive. I know it's important to efficiently use your iPhone, so I'm happy to help.

It seems that these two issues may be related, as the hold duration is how long you have to touch the screen before it'll respond. This article explains more about that feature, as well as how to disable it:

If you want your device to respond only to touches of a certain duration

You can set your device to respond to touches only after holding your finger on the screen for a certain period of time, called the hold duration.

Here's how to start using Hold Duration:

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Touch Accommodations.

Turn on Hold Duration.

Tap the - and + buttons to change the time.
